About the Venue
Highlights
The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater, winner of the prestigious VenuesNow All Star Award for Renovation and winner of Best of Connecticut Music Venue, is located on the bank of the Long Island Sound in Bridgeport, CT and is the live music entertainment destination for the entire region. The venue is accessible from I-95, the Merritt Parkway, MetroNorth, Amtrak and dedicated Port Jefferson Ferry.
Attention to detail is the hallmark of the 5,700+ seat boutique amphitheater. It is designed to wow. Luxurious details greet you as you enter the building, from custom steel gates and stone walls, the iconic tensile roof, marble bathrooms, food stands in stone, granite countertops, twinkle lights reminiscent of the evening sky, four huge video boards, cup holders at every seat, and much, much more.
The back-of-house was designed with the bands in mind. The star suite with an outdoor patio, fireplace, massage room, bedroom and personal chef is truly spectacular. There are also six additional dressing rooms with private baths, a laundry facility, 2 green rooms, and dining room.
Local food is available throughout the venue from Valencia Luncheria, Sound Coffee, Garden Catering, Gotham Burger, Walter’s Hot Dogs, Hoo Doo Brown, Liberty Rock Tavern, Jeff’s Amazing Kettle Corn, Hummel Bros., Lil Pub, Donut Crazy, Nate’s Lemonade, NY Prime Steak Truck, Nordic Fish, Freskos Greek, the Tasty Yolk, Una Dolce Vita, and Be Chocolate. The Amp truly personifies the best food and beverage in Connecticut.
